Eating Out

Uncle Mike gave her a bit of biscuit today at lunch. She also sampled veggie burger, black beans and avocado (which was not a hit, so I guess that's more for me!). The best was her sippy cup though.

Kendall gave her a Sonic cup after she finished and Lily enjoyed happy hour out on the back deck. Today, we were doing field work with Ellen and Kathleen, and Kathleen gave up her water bottle. Lily carried it for at least 40 minutes, then continued trying to drink from it in the car. I finally gave her some water from my bottle and she drank it up!

so many outings!

We've been to the zoo for the first time, with Jill and her two boys and Mike and Renee and their three kids. And Lily and Max have been hanging out a lot lately--finally enjoying their time together instead of being oblivious or mad. Yesterday was glorious weather so Toni and I walked downtown to Mast to buy matching sunscreen. The day before we took the kids to the swings at the little park down the street. This morning, Aunt Toni came over to watch Lily while I went to a meeting at work. Oh, and the most important news---Lily is crawling! Not perfectly, but she's getting the idea. It is SO frustrating and so much work. Poor girl keeps crawling to Ella, who promptly leaves.
