Growing like a weed!
She is learning so much so fast! She loves being in her jumperoo, which we got right after Thanksgiving. She also likes sitting in her bumbo seat, sometimes. She's rolling over a lot, and holding herself up while on her tummy. And, best of all, she laughed for the first time last weekend!
She and her Grandmama came with me Wed evening to the Tour de Lights bike ride, which I organize. She seemed to enjoy seeing everyone and watching the lights. Then Thur. we headed to SC for Christmas. She did NOT enjoy the ride, but we stopped pretty often. Today she has been very busy so hopefully she will sleep well.

Photo Shoot
Not sure how much longer this will be up. It's a slideshow of a photo shoot Lily had for the local cloth diaper store. This was back on Oct 19th.

OK, I give in
I wasn't going to do a blog, but I know it's hard for people to keep up with recent photos through the kodak gallery, considering there are about 300 now!So these are recent pics of Lily on her first Thanksgiving.
Grandmama (Pat) , Mama (Kelley) and Lily walked to the Old City to have turkey dinner at Patrick Sullivans. It was great food. Lily slept through most of it in Mama's arms, after examining the ceiling fans and sunlight.
Then Fri evening we went downtown to the Holiday of Lights. It was too crowded to enjoy anything, but we did hear some wonderful carols and see the big, blue tree. Lily got a glimpse of Santa!
Lily is doing great. She is learning how to make things happen with her hands--and even her feet! Thank goodness that Grandmama discovered she loves to stand in her exersaucer in the kitchen and watch us cook, unload the dishwasher, and generally get things done. It's especially fun when we tell her everything we are doing along the way.
She has a jumperoo now and loves to stand in that and play with the toys, make it move, and be talked to.
More to come!
